Dr. Anil Potti is a well respected, board certified medical oncologist in the United States. He graduated from high school at the top of his class and thereafter attended Little Flower Junior College where he pursued dedicated undergraduate course work in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. In 1989, he was chosen as one of six candidates from all around India to enroll in to the prestigious Christian Medical College, Vellore for medical (M.B.B.S) training and received a National Merit Scholarship as financial aid. After graduating from medical school at the top of his class, in 1996, he enrolled in to an internal medicine residency at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Fargo , ND, where he would go on to serve as a Chief Resident and then continue as a faculty member. After a personal experience, Dr. Anil Potti was led to the field of Hematology/Oncology and completed a rigorous 3-year program at Duke University that made him eligible for board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
