Dr. Anil Potti is a Physician and a board-certified Oncologist based in the United States. He received his medical degree from

, India at the age of 21. After completing his mandatory rotating internship in India and a 3-year internal medicine residency, he completed fellowship training in

Medical Oncology

Duke University
with many distinguished awards. He was also a research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Joseph Nevins at Duke where he was involved in the development of genomic strategies to improve prognosis and treatment, with specific relevance to cancer. To date, Dr. Anil Potti has more than

, received many prestigious awards, and has been an invited speaker at many national and international scientific meetings.
Dr. Potti, currently a clinician (Oncologist) with a special interest in Thoracic Oncology, has served as a PI or Co-PI on several investigator-initiated trials, the basic science committee for the Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB), and the ASCO Tumor Biology Section. He has also served as a reviewer for

, Nature Medicine and Lancet. He has also been the recipient of independent awards and federal grants. In his research endeavors, Dr. Potti is seeking to better understand the cellular signaling pathways that cause cancer, as well as ways to dictate better and more individualized approaches to cancer treatment.
